fall crafts in therapy

Last week at Christian Care Center of Bolivar, we celebrated the Fall season with crafts in Therapy. 

Our patients enjoyed working on their standing balance, activity tolerance and duration while expressing their crafty skills. They were proud of their creations which they used to decorate their rooms. 

One of our Therapy patients shared the story of how being a Christian is like being a pumpkin. She recited the Bible verse, Matthew 5:16 then said God puts His light inside us to shine for all the world to see, just like we put lights in pumpkins so we can see their glow. She went on to say that we are all Gods creations and are unique just like pumpkins. 

Our Broad River Rehab Staff thrives to keep the “fun” in functional to encourage our patients to exercise daily.
