"Putting my mom in a facility was not ideal, but we’re blessed to have finally found Christian Care Center of Bolivar.

My mom has been in two other nursing home facilities and both were awful experiences in their own ways. However, the experience with Christian Care Center of Bolivar has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff and team are wonderful, caring, & kind. They have gone above and beyond what they’re required to do to help my mom and myself.

My mom’s regular day nurse, Dylan, is one of the most compassionate, understanding, and knowledgeable caregivers my mom has had. And getting her approved for the facility was proving to be a Herculean task and the team, without me asking, went the extra mile to help me get her approved.

And Erica has been nothing short of exceptional. From the beginning, it has felt like the staff and team care not only about my mom, but me as well. Their support and dedication has been demonstrated many times in a relatively short period.

To say I highly recommend Christian Care Center of Bolivar is a gross understatement. The facility, and the team there, are superior to any other facility we have considered or where she has stayed."

"I looked at a few nursing homes in the area. Christian Care Center (of Bolivar) was much, much better than what I expected.

The nurses and nurses aids were loving, caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. They kept me updated on my mom’s condition. The center was clean and bright. It was welcoming and not noisy or chaotic. The center took care to try to keep COVID out and isolated those who tested positive.

The office employees were also attentive and caring for the patient’s family and the patient. I saw the center director, director of nursing, director of social services, and assistant director of nursing in the patient hallways helping visitors and talking with residents and staff." - G.D.

"In early December, my mother fell in her home and received a head, leg and foot injury. After an extended hospital stay (3 weeks), we decided to bring her to the Christian Care Center (of Bolivar) for rehab therapy as she basically couldn’t walk. We began at the Medina location for a week and then moved to the Bolivar facility. It was bright, clean, didn’t smell like any other health care facility we had been to, and the overall vibe was certainly more like a hotel/spa than a care facility. I had some special requests for my mother that were met with a “can do attitude” and confirmation of “we will do everything in our power to make sure she is comfortable and well taken care of while she is here”.

The admittance staff at both locations could not have been more professional, attentive, and efficient, executing all facets of the Medicare requirements and obtaining her medications prior to arrival so we hit the ground running on the first day. Food services checked frequently for not only food preferences, but preparation needs with regards to cut up meats, sweet vs. unsweet tea, etc.

All this aside, the primary focus was getting her better and back on her feet. We were super pleased with the quality of the Physical and Occupational Therapist at both locations. The approach with their patients was to explain “this is a process” to go through for the long-term goal, realizing it doesn’t happen in a day. Over the course of 42 days, therapy 5 times a week, and with seasoned professionals, my mom is back on her feet. Balance, stability, and mobility have returned.

We now have her home and are proceeding with home health care, initiated, and secured with the help from the CCC/Bolivar staff.

Care for the most vulnerable requires an attitude of love and caring for those who cannot care for themselves. I commend the CCC Bolivar and Medina locations for the excellent services they have provided for my dear mother and our family, and highly recommend these two facilities for anyone’s health care needs."
